The governed AI application platform, deployed your way
Build systems of record with AI that emits validated configuration — never code — behind a human approval gate, on infrastructure you control. On-premises, private cloud, or fully air-gapped.
Runs where your data lives
Docker-based deployment across all models. Guidance for local models via Ollama: a GPU host with roughly 8GB VRAM; CPU-only inference is possible but slower.
On-premises
Deploy in your own data center under your existing network, identity, and backup controls. Stateless server and worker replicas scale horizontally behind your load balancer.
Private cloud
Run in your own AWS, Azure, or GCP accounts and VPCs. Your residency commitments and cloud security posture apply directly — Megapodes is a workload in your environment, not a SaaS dependency.
Air-gapped
Because all AI inference runs locally via Ollama, Megapodes delivers full functionality — AI builder included — with zero internet egress. AI features fail closed: if the local model is unavailable, AI-assisted operations stop and report why, while the running application continues under normal manual operation. There is no cloud fallback.
Identity and access, on your terms
SSO / OIDC-ready
Integrate with your identity provider — Okta, Entra ID, Keycloak, or any OIDC-compliant IdP.
MFA
Optional multi-factor authentication for accounts managed by the platform.
Role templates
Default Admin, Builder, Member, Read-only, and AI Employee roles — extend or replace them to match your access model.
Three-layer authorization
Role ACL → forced PostgreSQL Row-Level Security → field-level masking in SQL. Fail-closed, enforced server-side. Read the security model.
Governance is the product
Change control that your platform and compliance teams can stand behind — for AI-proposed and manual changes alike.
Approval gates
Every structural mutation is previewed and dry-run, then requires explicit human approval before a transactional apply.
Changesets with named data-at-risk
Large builds group into a single reviewable changeset; destructive items are individually confirmed with the affected data named.
Append-only audit log
Who or what changed the system, when, and with whose approval — recorded for every gated mutation and AI action, with human / AI-build / AI-employee actor types.
Signed environment promotion
Promote applications dev → test → prod as signed, versioned bundles with diff, dry-run, approval, and idempotent apply. Secrets are excluded and re-keyed per environment.
Flat platform license. No per-seat metering.
Per-user platforms such as Retool or Power Apps meter every login, so cost scales with adoption and success gets expensive. Megapodes is licensed as a flat platform license plus your infrastructure.
Unlimited users and apps
Self-hosted deployments include unlimited users and unlimited applications. Rolling a system out to a whole department or company does not change the license cost.
License = assurance
The flat platform license buys certainty, not seats: named support engineers, defined response times, SSO, custom contractual terms, and a custom SLA defined in your agreement.
Predictable economics
Infrastructure runs on your hardware or cloud accounts at your negotiated rates. The flat platform license keeps cost independent of adoption. The platform undergoes internal adversarial testing today; independent security assessments are part of our certification roadmap, and architecture documentation and control mappings are available under NDA.
Engineers on your side of the rollout
Named support engineers
Enterprise agreements include named support engineers and defined response times — not a shared ticket queue.
Guided pilot / POC
A structured pilot under a free 30-day evaluation license, with success criteria defined up front: deploy on your infrastructure, build the first application together, review with your stakeholders. Request an Evaluation.
Onboarding & Migration
Assistance connecting existing PostgreSQL, MySQL, and REST sources, mapping roles to your identity model, and moving legacy tools onto the platform.
Custom Plugins & Vertical Packs
Custom plugin development through the microkernel plugin architecture, and vertical packs on the roadmap for hospitality, contact-center, CRM, and edtech.
Built to pass procurement
Megapodes is engineered for regulated environments. The platform’s controls are designed in alignment with ISO 27001, GDPR and India’s DPDP Act 2023, SOX ITGC, and SOC 2-style trust criteria. Certification programs are on our roadmap; control mappings and security questionnaire responses are available to customers under NDA.
MSA & DPA
Standard master service agreement and data processing agreement, with custom terms available under the enterprise agreement.
Security questionnaires
We complete your security questionnaires and provide architecture documentation and control mappings under NDA. Visit the Trust Center.
Annual invoicing via PO
Annual invoicing against purchase orders, aligned to your procurement cycle.
Custom SLA
Service levels are defined in your enterprise agreement, matched to the criticality of your deployment.
Shape the platform with us
We are onboarding a limited number of enterprise design partners. Partners get direct access to the engineering team, influence over the roadmap — including vertical packs — and preferential enterprise terms, in exchange for structured feedback from a real deployment.
Frequently asked questions
What Megapodes is, how the governed build pipeline works, and how it is deployed and licensed.
Can Megapodes run fully air-gapped?
Yes. All AI inference runs on a local LLM via Ollama on your hardware, so the platform delivers full functionality — including the AI builder and AI Employees — with zero internet egress. AI features fail closed: if the local model is unavailable, AI-assisted operations stop and report why, while the running application continues under normal manual operation. There is no cloud fallback.
Does Megapodes support SSO?
Megapodes is OIDC-ready, so it integrates with identity providers such as Okta, Entra ID, and Keycloak. Optional MFA and role templates map your organization’s access model onto the platform’s three-layer authorization.
What does the pilot process look like?
We run a guided pilot: define a target use case and success criteria with your team, deploy on your infrastructure, build the first application together, and review the results with your stakeholders before you commit to a wider rollout.
How is enterprise pricing structured?
Enterprise self-hosted deployments are covered by a flat platform license with no per-seat metering — unlimited users and applications. The license covers assurance: named support engineers, defined response times, SSO, custom contractual terms, and a custom SLA defined in your enterprise agreement. Free 30-day evaluation licenses are available for pilots.
Do you support our security review?
Yes. We provide architecture documentation, data-flow diagrams, control mappings, and security questionnaire responses under NDA, and we make engineers available to your security and compliance reviewers during evaluation. Platform controls are designed in alignment with ISO 27001, GDPR and India’s DPDP Act 2023, SOX ITGC, and SOC 2-style trust criteria; certification programs are on our roadmap.
What are the hardware requirements for local AI?
Deployment is Docker-based. For local models via Ollama we recommend a GPU host with roughly 8GB of VRAM; CPU-only inference is possible but slower. The rest of the stack — PostgreSQL, Redis, MinIO/S3 — runs on standard server hardware.
